Patient Transport
At Revive Medical, patient transport is carried out using specially designed, multi-role ambulances equipped to accommodate walking, wheelchair, stretcher, and bariatric patients. Every journey is overseen by fully vetted, highly trained professionals who ensure each patient receives safe, comfortable, and compassionate care throughout their transport.
High Dependency Unit (HDU) transfers
Revive Medical supports both NHS and private clients with inter-hospital, high-dependency ambulance services, fully equipped to care for critically ill patients. Our emergency-ready vehicles are operated by highly skilled clinicians, ensuring safe, efficient transfers including blue-light responses when urgent care is required.
Nursing Home transfers
Revive Medical provides a reliable and compassionate nursing home transfer service, ensuring residents are transported safely and comfortably between care settings, hospitals, and appointments. Our specially equipped vehicles and experienced staff are trained to support patients with a wide range of mobility and clinical needs, delivering attentive, person-centred care throughout the journey. We work closely with care homes, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure every transfer is smooth, dignified, and tailored to the individual’s requirements.
Ground Repatriations
Revive Medical’s repatriation services provide reassurance and support for both patients and their families.

Frequently Asked Questions
Due to space limitations and to ensure the privacy of our patients, we usually limit extra passengers to one person. This is typically a relative, carer or close friend, and it is agreed upon with the patient beforehand. In all circumstances, we consider the safety of the patient and the crew and assess your requirements on the individual merits.
Generally speaking, we allow our patients to travel with an overnight bag and any items essential for their ongoing care.
If you have a guide dog or other assistance dog that you wish to travel with you, we will consider the precise circumstances and make every effort to ensure they can travel with you. The safety of the patient and crew must always come first and these scenarios are judged on a case-by-case basis.
We are based in the south of England and primarily cover London and the south, including Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Surrey and Sussex. We do however undertake longer distance transfers regularly so please do contact our team.
